anyone put in free spin hubs?
I've got EMS, on my truck they do stick out, But from the driver seat I can't see them and I have peace of mind. My 06 with 31,000 miles Dealer had to replace the whole front end housing, ( ring and pinon bearing went out ) and they replace everything ( Thats a High dollar fix ) for everthing else there is VISA, maybe picked up 2 mpg

Solid Axle is out of production with their front hubs. I tried to order a kit through Poly Performance about a month ago, and they said it was discontinued.
It looks like the choices are down to EMS and Dynatrac...

i just installed my dynatrac kit this weekend. it was about 3-4 hours per side and really quite easy if you have worked on 4x4 manual hub front ends before and solid axle trucks. i have not cut the holes in my center caps yet, so that i can slide them on. what size hole saw are people using? the wheel studs seem to stick out awfully far for the center cap to not hit the center caps before bottoming out on the rim. is this normal?
thanks
thanks
It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

Can't remember the center hole size but you have to sand them out with a drum sander the final bit to get them just right. The studs do stick out too far to work easily. It's a little complicated but you have to remove the metal ring on the back of the caps with the clips on it. Then remount it with very short screws into holes that are already there. It makes the setup clear the long studs and snap right on after you remove about 1 1/8" from the cap.
See my picture of them mounted above and, if you want, I'll post some pix of what I did. Once done they look stock and mount just right.
