So the only differance in the bigline kit is the fittings for the fuel line and the diameter of the fuel line?

If so how does it help anything having the same stock fuel lines up to the MK-2 kit? Seems like the larger fuel lines would only work if you re-plumbed the whole thing?

The Raptor-100 pump comes with 1/2" lines to go from the tank to the stock filter canister. The big line kit supplies 1/2" from the stock filter location to the CP3 so you have 1/2" everywhere. It isn't so much of replumbing in a painful fashion. You just get new 1/2" line with the kit and all the necessary fittings, minus any allowance for a big line kit or additional filtration options.

Oh I was reffering to the MK-2 kit. When you do the Raptor. You have to drop the tank to remove the old metal fuel lines to replace with the new 1/2 lines right? Also does the kit come with the hangers to hold the new larger line to the frame?

No need to drop the tank. The raptor 100 uses the stock drawstraw without issue. There's a quickconnect on the drawstraw right now with the stocker. Just remove it and you can put the new one on. It can be a bit of a pain to reach in there and get it off but it isn't difficult, just annoying because you do it by feel and you can't really get in and see it. I pushed it back like I was putting it on, and then squeezed the tabs as hard as I could and pulled it right off. It left a little cuff on there which I removed, and then putting the new line right on and it clicked in place and that was it.

You'll secure the new lines with zip ties. This isn't metal line like the stock line, its flexible blue hose and its very stout and very easy to get it all set up.

I bought the one on my truck and the one on my old man's truck from xtreme diesel up in NJ. Free shipping, and it came right to my door with no problems whatsoever. The other installs I've done were from unknown to me vendors as I only handled the install.

I've been doing some searching and Xtreme Diesel has the best pricing I've been able to find.

Knowing that I plan on keeping my truck stock power wise, would I benefit any by spendig the extra 10 bucks to get the Raptor 150 over the Raptor 100?

Also, would I need to remove the stock limp pump or do you leave it in place and disable it?

If you stay stock of close to it you'll never need the Raptor 150. The 100 will support quite a bit of horsepower.

My big line kit was 3/8".. Most big line kits are 3/8" as they are desgined to go on a stock truck.

I have noticed the DTR store is quite a bit more expensive than buying elsewhere. I am all about helping out, but it's not the differance of like 5 bucks. We are talking like 50 for each product I have been eyeing.

I like the DTR store myself, but ultimately if the price isn't even close I typically have to go with a cheaper alternative. I wish I could do all my buying here as I love dtr, but sometimes I have to watch the money spent(especially for the old man's pump).

The raptor is a great pump and no matter where you get it from you'll get a great product. It is easy to install and gives you more options for filtration and such. I was skeptical about installing it myself but I took a look at the directions and realized that it is pretty simple. I could probably do one in under an hour now after practice.

Right, except the Raptor comes with ½" hose I think?
