Almost stalls
I have a truck that has 360,000 km's on it and it had a new set of injectors due to poor running about a month ago. The problem now mostly when it is cold the engine really seems to drag down almost to the point of stalling and then picks itself up. When it does this little thing it also starts rattling almost like there is marbles in the crankcase.
It will do it warm as well when you are at a set of lights or stop sign it will drag down, rattle then when it does pick itself up it over revs just a little.
The fuel pressure is 9 PSI and there are no codes.
Thank you

Had the exact problem with my '03 but at the time none of the dealerships had a clue how to work on them so the only answer they could give me was to buy a new cp-3. Later found out that the FCA was sending a bad signal to the ECM causing erratic fuel pressures the computer was trying to compensate for.

Almost Stalls
My '03 did the same thing and after a lot of looking found a wire shorted out giving the cam sensor some eroneous readings. Fixed the wire and no more trouble. The wire had been removed from it's location when new injectors were installed and got pinched by the oil filter when it was changed. Runs good now.

Well I have the problem repaired. Thank you gentlemen. I looked at all the wiring harness and did find a couple of problem areas, one at the AC Compressor as noted from other posts, and another area right by the oil filter were the harness was rubbing.
I also found the rail pressure somewhat erratic at idle and I changed the FCA, after several test drives and cold starts, no more problems.
