Air intake baffles

Air intake baffles
Since I had to take out my damaged silencer ring, should I go ahead and clear out the intake tube baffles as well? Do I clear the straight baffles and the white ones in the elbows or just one or the other?

Cut out the straight ones but leave the white ones in the elbow. They keep the rubber part from sucking shut.

^^^^ X2....... you'll want to have some 2 part epoxy to put the tube back together once you are done.

I noticed yours is blue. Is it the same material as the intercooler boots?

I cut ALL of the baffles out; I don't have any problems with the rubber sucking shut.
