My new 2005 has a slight shudder right around 5-6mph. Nothing at 70 . Is there an easy fix for this? Thanks

 

Theres a TSB for shims to adjust differantial angle for a shudder from a stop I believe.

 

Well i called 2 different dealers today on the 5mph shudder and both had no idea what i was talking about. For those of you who have done the shim maybe you could shed some light, or point me in the right direction as to where to place the shims. Thanks!!

 

There has to be measurements done.Tell the DARN dealers to pull and read their TSB'S.Even the dealer near me with 3 techs has done this TSB.

My 03 shudders when loaded with the fiver in 1st and 2nd gears and reverse - - in fact, it just plain shook when backing under load. We placed a shim under the center drive shaft bearing assembly dropping it about 1/4". Helped, but didn't remove it.
