50 hp sticks, stk turbo, bag of parts
50 hp sticks, stk turbo, bag of parts
i have most of the $$$ saved up for "new" injectors. i would like to upgrade to 50 hp injectors but not educated enough to make a decission.
i also have a BDTDPP that is installed but currently running on "Stock" tune, because of the faulty stock injector(s). also, i don't tow very much.
1-will the EGT's be ok with the stock turbo if 50 hp sticks are installed?
2-will there be enough fuel supply to support the 50hp injectors with a stock CP3 and bag of parts?
3-will the fuel milage suffer with the 50's to the point where i will be kicking myself daily?
4-would i be better off simply with new stock injectors?
i appreciate any guidance with this. thx

looks like a shortage of "NEW" 5.9L injectors. no one knows(vendors) when they can get them.
my other choice is "Remanufactored" injectors. what do you guy's think about reman's?
thx

I've been leery of them. However, a shop that knows what they are doing and actually replaces worn parts and not just "reconditions" are ok. Make sure it is genuine Bosch too. Research thoroughly before plunking down the cash.
