4wheel switch issues?????

4wheel switch issues?????
i have a 3500 03 and my switch or dial for 4 wheel drive will switch by itself so far just from two high to four high and lets me switch it back...any ideas ?? could be just the dial switch??? for now i just disconnect wire connection into the trans.case
