48RE questions

Hello All,

Has anyone bought and used the drain plug thingy from www.genosgarage.com for their transmission pan? Seems it would make life a whole lot easier when time to change the tranny fluid.

Is there an aftermarket fluid that's cheaper than the DC version? I was told to only use DC ATF+4 by the dealer.

I was also told that the equivalent to a flush is to drain, fill, and run till hot, three times. Is this correct or should I just pay and have DC do a flush and trust them to adjust the bands.

thanks Jamie

Had the dealer do mine...Cost about $150.00... Adjusted the bands, no mess and not really that much money....
