Ok sounds like I need to quit messing around with this trans and just buy a built one. Plus have the drive shafts balanced.
How much does he sell them for and does he install them?
Thanks abunch

Does your truck have a carrier bearing, if so you may want to look in to buying a one piece drive shaft.

I'm a ford guy and the only reason I bought this truck was for fuel economy and for my wife to drive cause she dose'nt like driving my f350 crew cab dually. Wife says "The ford has a steering radius of a school bus and the dodge is a pretty truck that turns so much sharper".

Anyhow I would realy appreciate any sugestions.
That vibration at 70 could be the OD assembly. someone took it apart without marking it. It was balanced as an assembly.

Call Dave, I'm his NC installer and can tell you he stands behind his stuff like no other. You need to be really honest and explain what has been happening. Goerend Transmissions 563-778-2719. If you want tell him Phil from NC sent you.

If it is a one piece drive shaft, have you looked at the splines where it is supposed to slide freely in and out of the transfer case? Or maybe the drive shaft wasn't built right and is just a little too long and is bottoming out.

Check the rest of the driveline, specifically like these guys have said about the driveshaft & t-case. Take the driveshaft somewhere that rebuilds them & have them work it over w/ a balance.

I'm leaning away from transmission primarily because it has not been the same transmission throughout (assuming the shops were telling the truth when they told you they replaced case), which should rule out flawed castings, bent shafts, etc.
