48re Compatibility

Is a 48re from a 2003 ram 3500, VIN #C,compatible in a 2006 ram 2500 with 48re? I found a rebuilt, but its from a 2003 truck.

Noop, they are not the same. Many upgrades inside to the 06' for the exhaust brake to work properly and the 06' has a TV motor. The 03' has the TV cable that is ran to the APPS.
