3500 storage

We will need to leave our truck in southern California when we come home to Alaska for a couple of months around Dec./Jan. The manual says disconnect the batteries if storing over 21 days, seems like a very short time,
any other suggestions for storage?

Re:3500 storage

Put your truck up on blocks and take the wheels off. That way you won't have to worry about developing any flat spots. But then again, I don't think 2 months will hurt the tires any.

Re:3500 storage

I've stored many vehicles and never put them up on blocks. Flat spots on tires only last the first 20 miles or so. Then they are round again. Change the oil b4 you put it away. Disconnect the batteries. Have a good holiday.
