265/70/17

Can i run 265/70/17 in the rear without a spacer?

yup its a smaller tire though. the 235 is taller. i just bought firestones for mine paid $169 a piece mounted at a local shop. the only all terrain tire i could find for less than 200 a piece

I put a 265 up next to the stock 235s on my 07 dually I had and the 265 was just slightly taller and about an inch wider...

My cooper 265's are about a 1/4" shorter than the stock 235's,but they are an 1" wider.I run a slide on 1/4" spacer with no problems.

ok thanks a bunch...ya the 265=31.6 and the 235=31.8 and the width 10.4-9.3 so they are smaller but not a noticeable different and they are wider. once again thanks.

Hmmm, maybe it was because the 265 I had was not mounted on a rim. It was a BFG Rugged Trail and the 235s were Generals...

ya i put these 265s up next to my 235 already on the truck and thought they were like an inch taller but i did one of those conversion things and thats what they came out to be.
