Yesterday my 2006 threw its first code. The CEL came on so I cycled the key to find a P2609 Grid Heater Performance Code. I went through all the normal stuff in checking this code. Checked all batteries for a dead cell, checked all battery cables, and all was good. I dropped it at the dealer this morning so we'll see whats up. I have seen a few people talk about this code....is it something seen very often on a stock truck and what usually is the problem....thanks

 

I've not had any problems with mine but I would like to hear what your dealer has to say.

 

I just talked to my dealer....thay stated it was a faulty relay....problem fixedand back on the raod. I will let you know if the CEL comes back on.
