This is not a high performance question.
Okay, so I have a stock 2006 with the 4sp Auto & Cummins. So sometimes I feel like laying some rubber down with it; seeing how long of a track I can leave. It has the no-slip rear end and that makes it even more fun. Sorry, I haven't grown up completely yet.

Will my stock tire size and my 2006 auto transmission hold up to this, or should I wish I had my old high school car and wish I never bought my new Dodge???

Any insight would be great. Thank you.

 

Step on it, built some boost, and let off the brakes. Don't do it too many times in a row (heat buildup) and it'll be fine. The spinning tires limit how much torque you can subject anything to.

 

I beat on mine a bit with my Quadzilla box and 35" tires. So far no problems at all.

 

How many miles on the truck?

 

If you're talking to me I have almost 11,000 miles on mine.

 

2500 and counting. Hypothetically speaking.
