2005 Tow Haul Mode

while in cruise towing 5th wheel on steep grade will down shift as it should however after you crest the hill and start down, the trans will continue in the lower gear and not shift back up into overdrive. I have to disingage cruise or TOW HAUL button before it will regain overdrive.
I am talking it in tomorrow,, it only has 2400 miles, but the way it act's doesn't seem right.

any suggtestions or has DODGe put any bulletins out on this, where would i look, I would like to have some ammunition when I take the truck in tomorrow AM.

Thanks for your help John H (aka Hemlockusa) Hell my old 96 diesel dually shifted better than this new one!!!!!!

I don't think theres anything wrong with your tranny.Cruise should not be used when towing heavy loads up and down steep hills.Thats not what it is designed for.

The trans is staying in a lower gear to keep your speed and provide engine braking.
