2004 ram 3500

I have a 2005 2500 auto. The problem I am having is after a while the pedal gets hard to push then when you push to a certain point it gets soft again. Like a compound bow.

Also on the shifting it shift fine till it goes to drive. It like jolts the truck. Now if your under a load it doesn't do it.

It has just a fass lift pump and banks IQ.

So any input would be greatly appreciated.

Man, I don't know. My truck actually has a cable, but I can't remember if the 05s had the APPS and no cable. Check behind the petal, make sure something isn't going on back there.

I'd look for a physical problem first with the assembly itself, then go from there.

As far as the shifting, do you mean when you put the shifter into drive, or when you're driving and it shifts into fourth gear?
