This am I had to limp my truck back home. The throttle was dead and the mil light came on. I could get some power by depressing the throttle some ways and the truck would Rev out but at least make progress.
I happened to have had a code scanner in the truck and I am getting codes P2121,2123,0238..i have a FSM but can't find the P codesanywhere in it. The scanner iI have tells me the throttle position sensor, pedal position sensor is the 2123 and 2121 code and the 2038 is the turbo boost sensor A circuit high.
I will try the APPS reset I read about but will be checking here every chance I get.

Could be the APPS is going out. For troubleshooting purposes remove the VA box just to see. If you have the engine mounted APPS I recommend using the Timbo version once you determine the APPS is the issue.

 

As suggested I removed the VA box and all is well. I knew I'd do this at some point prior to buying a new APPS unit but I am an eternal pessimist and thought the problem couldn't be so simple. Now I have to shell out twice the $ for a new "go fast box". Here I was thinking that knowing the VA box was the culprit saved me money
