I'm sure this is a tired question for some of you, but I'm pretty green and want to ask for some basic info:
What are the most important things I can do to improve/protect my new engine and drivetrain, i.e. air filter? Amsoil? etc. Any advice would be really appreciated.

 

Use decent oil and oil filters, change them when you're supposed to; and document it in your little log book/maintenance manual.

And giverr' Heck in between! I think they like it .....
