2003 4WD Ball Joint how to?

2003 4WD Ball Joint how to?
I have a 2003 4WD that needs ball joints. Looks like I need to pull the axles to get them out and the new ones in. Are the joints easy to get out? Any info would be helpful. Also, Advance Auto offers them in adjustable and non adjustable dont know what I should go back with. Should I buy factory? Thanks for the input.
