If you put that kind of mileage on your truck your hauling commercial and thus subject to all DOT rules and regs. You need to run a team to pour that type of mileage onto a truck that is only 3 years old. If your hauling RV's with it then your doing something amazing since 3/4 of the dealers around here have closed up shop. (glad you are busy and working.)

I do not run team and have the log books to show the miles. I put the truck in service mid June 07.
5 months it was basically parked when I drove a big truck when freight was slow.
There is no legal way to run a team in a dually.
I rarely take any time away from the road except for the 34 hour breaks.
Most of the runs are over 1800 miles long.
There might have been only about 4 months off and of course 2 weeks in this month already.
Hi, thanks for the compliments/comments on the truck. I’ll try to answer a few of the questions posted.
He bought the truck in July of 04 and it’s been on the road almost constantly ever since. He started by pulling campers to the dealers. The company he’s hooked up with now has him pulling a variety of things with some campers as well. It’s hit every state and most Canadian provinces as well.
There was only one driver operating it at a time. My Dad drove it the first few months and then my brother after that. Never ran a team. Logs weren’t a problem.
From July of 04 to Nov. of 2010 is 76 months which figures to around 13,000 a month with an average of 438 miles a day. He wasn’t in it 24/7 but he definitely was in it most of the time.
Now if my math is correct, at say 15 mpg average the truck has used well over 60,000 gallons of fuel. We have our own tire machine and I can’t tell you how many times we’ve changed/rotated tires.
Whoever mentioned the seat was correct, that is one crappy seat, but it’s been pretty cool truck!!
The truck itself is in pretty good shape and still uses no oil. I’ll get a pic of the odometer and post it on here. Thanks again
