06......Reflash or not???
06......Reflash or not???
I have 1100 miles on my 2006 with a build date of 02-2006. I will be pulling a gooseneck trailer this summer and I would like to have the reflash done for the TIPM/trailer light update. When this is done, will all of the other reflash updates automatically be done at the same time, or can they pick and choose? I already have the reverse horn honk "feature" so that is not a concern. So far I have had no starting problems.......but I have driven the truck very little so far. Is the general consensus that the latest updates are the way to go? Has anyone had a reflash update done that decreased mileage/performance or caused any other problems?
Thanks!
Thanks!
When I first talked to the service manager at my selling dealer they did not want to do the reflash either until I had a problem, but after I brought up the safety factor of driving around with no trailer lights they reluctantly agreed to do it. I will be pulling my trailer a lot at night this summer and I did not want to wait until the lights were not working to have this done.
Does anyone know if all the flash updates have to be done or if they can pick and choose them?
