have a 06 mega cab that has got a bad vab from 45 to 60
new tires about 2000 miles
any advice

 

Mind you I have a 6 in lift but I had the same vibration on mine and it was a u joint and driveshaft was warped they dealer told me. I have the TC drop kit on it so I figured they would not warranty the repair but they did. Told me they have seen a few stock mega cabs with the same problem. Makes me NOT want to keep my truck lol

 

I just had a vibration issue on mine... Also a low speed squeak... Turned out to be the rear u-joint on the rear drive shaft...

I ended up getting a new u-joint installed, but seriously considered swapping to a one piece shaft from an 08

Thanks for the help found a bad ujoint on the rear put my mag base and dial ind on it to find rear shaft was out .075

 

Humm my 06 Mega with the 48re was doing the same thing. I am now into a new T/C, valve boby, input bearing and the overdrive bearing all at 49k miles..
