Have oil coming out of my trans look like it is coming out of the top were the shifter comes out, is there a seal ? not leaking real bad yet.

 

could be over filled and fluid expanding mine was doing it and when i changed it it was overfilled. hadnt checked to see if its still doing it tho. no seal believe the vent tube is up there

 

There is a seal around the shifter that tears. Mine had this problem as well as a lot of other '06 trucks. I think the seals were damaged during assembly. There is a post with pictures attached somewhere here, do a search.

Thanks NickBeek, I thought there was a seal but not sure, my truck has 42.000 miles on it, I have the ex warranty on it but not sure if it will cover it, but if not I will fix it my self, thank again.
