Let us know when you put something in the wrong area, we'll move it for free

I have a straight pipe on mine, it's loud. Love it. A little drone towing at highway speeds, but it does not bother me.

Just removed the cat and factory muffler. Put on a MBRP straight through muffler. Nice rumble at idle. Nice bark when going through the gears, but sounds quiet as factory when cruising. Have not towed yet with it, so hopefully there is no drone.

I did a muffler delete on my 04 and did not like it. It sounded AWESOME!!! but it had too much drone inside the cab for me...towing or not. I ended up putting the stock muffler back on.

I had cat delete with a 4040 Aeroturbine and an AFE stage 2. I drive a lot of highway and just got tired of it. Most of the last 6 months I've worn ear plugs on long drives where my speed was around 80.
Put a Nelson/Fleetguard 51" in there, and the difference was amazing. Just waiting on my AFE stage 2 SI now.
Then, I should be back close to stock sound.

I did the same thing.
A bit louder while towing and at larger throttle openings, but not a drone.

Yep same here. Have had straight pipe for about a year and i'm so sick of the noise on the highway, even with no load. It is great in the city, but I just cannot stand it on the highway. Though I found my solution, my bro just got a truck with just a muffler, till I heard it towing only 3.5k on the highway, and it drones and is annoying to

If i'm by myself it's not as bad as I cannot hear it over my music, but when others are with me, they don't seem to like the subs thumping as much
