my 04.5 will occasionaly become very irratic under light throttle..surges ,almost dies,then takes off like half throttle all without moveing the pedal more than an 1/8"...its an auto and doesnt do it all the time..maybe 3 or 4 times a week and will keep it up for a short time and then settle down. had the fuel preasure switch"on back of injection pump" changed and seemed to fix it for a couple weeks now its back..any body else experience this senario?

 

could be the factory fuel filter not filtering fine enough may want to think about a 2 micron fuel filter set up If not the FCA or fuel pressure switch can be removed and cleaned with brake cleaner.

 

finally flippin truck is fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! t.p.s. finally threw a code 2112 and 2122..changed out the t.p.s and its like a new truck...sheesh only took 6 months to find it..
