Getting ready to take my truck to the ******* to have him look at the front end. When I go over a speed bump or hit a pot hole, I get a clunking/popping noise from the passenger side front end. I'm thinking ball joint. Any one else have this problem??

 

I had the same problem except when backing up out of the drive way and turning the wheel. It was worse when raining after the truck would sit for a spell. The dealer said they had to tight up some of the front end components that wer loose. I will try to find out what the actually did and let you know tommorrow.

 

check the bottom shock bolt, if youve put on shocks lately , that could be it. Use a bigger snipe to over tighten it

 

Haven't touched a thing on the truck. As the signature says "Bone stock". Gonna leave it stock for the warranty...I will drop it of at the dealers monday...let you know.

 

Check the lower control arm bolts. They have been loose on various trucks and mine also.

 

My Lower joints are both worn out, 2x4 truck. Are they the same part than on 4x4, and does anybody has a part # for Moog or any other, adjustable or not?
