You can put the 04.5 injectors into your 03 the only problem you may run into is that they flow alot more because they are a 5 hole instead of a three hole injector (don't quote me on the number of holes) but they will work you can run injectors of off an 06 they only thing you can't do is take the injectors from an 03 truck and put them in an 04.5 or newer truck, as for more HP I don't think you will see much of a gain but you may.

I hope this helps your guys out.

I do know that the spray pattern issue is the main difference, read that it has to do with the combustion chamber shape, which was modified on the 04.5's from the 03's. I assume this is due to different piston top shaping......

I don't think that you can use 04.5 tips in an 03 - I found posts that said "bad things will happen".......
The nozzles are different for 2 reasons
1-angles
2-o3,04 has 8 hole: 04.5-07 has 5 hole

The bodies are the same, match the nozzles with the engine and you'll be fine!

Instead of speaking (posting) so much I would advise that you take some time to read because their is a ton of good information on this site.

Sometimes its like the blind leading the blind around here.
