Anyone knowledgable on torque converters?
I just had my 48 re transmission rebuilt. It drives great but the torque converter does not lock up.
Is the lockup a function of the computer or a specific type of torque converter?
Did the builder install the wrong type of torque converter for it to not lock up?
What is a reasonably priced torque converter compatible with a 48re trans that will lock up like it does from the factory?
