is it worth it?

well, guys I have been a member here for a while, and have had a couple diesels, and sold a couple of diesels, now I have a gasser that I fixed up and selling and in the market for a cheap builder again, so here it goes, it is a 96 3/4 ton 4x4 extended cab, with 12valve 214,000 miles, 5-speed tranny, clutch is tight, tranny, tight engine and turbo are tight runs great. the filters are all the right color! and the interior is decent not great but better then some, now - the box side on d-side has been replaced, has small dents every where it was a company truck clean title from IL and it needs some tlc maybe even new paint, new bumpers. he is asking$7950 and I told him i could only give him $6000 cash, he is thinking about it. is this price good? o9r should i pass it by? i will probebly stick another 3 in it. just leave me some feed back. thanks

I'm no expert, but I agree with Bill and Jeremy. Sounds like a real fair price, even with that you want to put into it.
