1997 dodge ram 2500
$19,800 ????

It's 12-valve and low miles, but still............its a '97. If it's a dually maybe.

I would gauge it off of actual condition/use/mileage and then decide if it was worth it to me....

There are more at that price out there than you think......... I saw a 93 regular cab for 13,500 the other day as well.........

I would think long and hard before I spent anywhere near that much, but I also turned down 15K for my Greenie.........

Oh did not know CL ad are not allowed here.

It's mind blowing because I had an '03 Cummins (bought new) 3/4 ton 4x4, 4 door long bed with 66k miles (was in excellent shape only towed a boat on weekends -- still under factory warranty) when I got rid of it back in 2009. Awesome rig with no emissions crap.

I had it advertised at ~ $22.5K (for a few months) and I could not generate any interest until I lowered the price to ~ $20K. End up selling the rig for $19,500.

I definetely gave the truck away.

2009 was also the bottom of the recession. Different times, different market.

Also, people need to accept that the 12 valve trucks, the Club Cab 4WD manual transmission ones in particular, are becoming very desireable. They are like the new 67-72 Chevy pickups.

And don't forget, the appeal of the 12 valve is they will get you home with baling wire and duct tape, not so much the later ones.......... So the price reflects that as well.
