Where is the easiest place to get juice to wire for marker lights that I want to put on front bumper. I want them to come on with parking lights. I have a manual, but not that great at reading wiring diagrams.<br>Any suggestions would be helpful.

 

One option is to pull the dash face off and repove thr light switch assy. Use a test light to determine which of the wires triggers the running lights and tie into it to trigger a relay. I placed a switch inline so that I can turn off all of my added lights and only use the factory lights. I used the lisence plate lights but that requires running a wire all the way to the front of the truck from the back bumper. I wasn't thinking when I installed mine or I would be using the switch to trigger them.

 

Is that you Robbie?<br>Say Hi to OL Rattler fer me. <br>You could also use a relay triggered off of one of the existing running light wire harnesses.<br>Run 12V from the battery, a good ground, trigger to existing light, load to wiring for new running lights.<br>That way it wouldn't add a large amp load to the headlight switch. <br><br>

I was trying to come up with where and what wire I could tap into to have them come on with the parking lights when I pull the main light switch.<br>I guess going to the relay method would give me a reason to put more switches in the cab.<br>P.S. Robbie, just wire the relay's trigger wire to an existing parking light wire under the hood. You wouldn't have to add another switch that way, and it will still come on whenever your parking lights are on.
