What a morning... Ughhh

Ok my week started out a little rough when my GSK install went a little bad and I bent a stud in the IP, no worries I fixed it. Then this morning I set off and Kill the KDP, pain in the *** but it went well. Then I go to pull the truck out of the garage to check everything out and make sure there are no leaks. I started the truck and realized the hood was still up, so I jumped out, BIG MISTAKE!! I forgot that during the KDP tab I had to put the truck in gear, I forgot. It JUMPED forward and the hood smashed the garage door!! It trashed my hood as you can see and bent a bracket on my garage door.... So the KDP is tabbed and im looking at some $$$ for a new hood If anyone knows of any Intense blue hood, grill, rear numper, or drivers door Im in the market

Noo... That's such a nice colour.

I have same colour dually coming from Florida to in here, Finland. Is it the same colour blue as Viper has?

Have you consider to straighten it up and only replace the grill?

The grill wouldn't be such a big $$$ problem if you didn't have a Sport. The fact that it is painted is gonna cost you.

As for the hood I would check out the aftermarket varieties. Any replacement is going to be expensive so why not get one that looks better than just an OEM? Just a thought.

Be carefull on the doors. If you can avoid going to a dealer for them it is wise. To replace just the driver and passenger doors with all new hardware on my '99 is going to be about $2500 for parts only.

The bumper, again, because it's a Sport is going to cost some $$$. If you were to get a chrome OEM I think they are going for about $275 now with the top cover and all mounting hardware.

Sorry you smashed it up. Insurance? If you have a $500 deductible it would be $$$ well spent to get things straightened out.

I am hoping someone on here might now where I could find stuff in my color...

ugh.
Worst case maybe I can bring my compressor and spray outfit up there and we can do both hoods in one go. That black hood here is up for grabs.

The only problem is getting the color on without getting it dusty. The clearcoat is much more forgiving
