Last leaving a family members house, after not driving my truck all week-end. First thing I noticed was my wait to start light didn't come on, then my head lights wouldn't come on. So I tried the high beams, seeing how I needed to get home, and they worked. Before I left I flipped the highs back to low and they now worked. When I went to start the WTS light worked. Gremlins?

 

Did the motor drag while starting? Maybe after setting for the weekend the batteries where a little low? And after firing up and running for a while, it charged back up.

 

Not at all. My sat radio was blaring, apparently it was louder than I thought when I got out , and all interior lights were bright, and the parking lights were working fine too. Just the head lights were not working.

 

Check your Daytime running lights module (DRL) I just had mine go kablooie and it left my lights ON all the time... perhaps this is what is causing your truck to be weird.
