I was talking to a local body shop guy here in town and told him I wanted to find a Lund Moonvisor for my '97 dodge. He said that visors are known to crack the cab out on these year dodges. Has anyone hear of or had a problem with this? Anyone have one they want to sell...?

 

Never had a problem with mine...... other than the problem of cleaning the bugs off it (in the middle part where i cant reach )

Let me guess.... he probably has a different brand visor he'd like to sell?

 

actually I just asked him if he knew of any used ones or anything and he just told me not to get one. I think he might have had a bad one come in and because of that all are bad. I've looked at lots of dodges with visors and none I have noticed were cracked out.

 

Where I live you just dont see visors on trucks anymore....I wonder why that could be?..wait a minute, I think I know why...

 

.... I guess I still have the little boy semi-truck-is-cool feeling and dig the look of visors. Plus they help with..err... the sun in eyes or something....

 

My roof is cracked from the visor and it is a lund. I found out after i got the wind sheild replaced. I duct taped over the crack and put the thing back on never had any leaks or trouble. the truck came from Alberta.
