Updating Interior

I have a 96 Dodge ext cab and the interior is starting to get a little warn. I am thinking of updating the front and rear seats along with the door panels. I really like the way the 01 Dodge Ram seats and door panels look. Would I be able to just buy 01 seats and door panels and have them fit my 96? Has anyone does something like this in their Dodge

Been there, done that. If you do a search you should see lots of info on it, including the PN of the brackets you need to mount the 98-2002 seats in the 96. 2000, or newer seats are better, as there is less wiring to make the seat belts in the seats work.
Dunno about the door panels as I didn't replace mine.
