truck wanders

i have a 2001 4x4 i just installed the 3rd gen retro fit kit and trackbar, all ball joints and rod ends and my truck are good still wanders i was told the lower ball joints can be froze up and that could be why it is hard to keep stright has anyone had this problem and what has everyone done to make there truck handle better with simple soloutions??

did you check the bottom of the steering box for sector shaft play?

if there is slop in that lower bushing, it can still allow the truck to wander. You can buy the brace to correct that as well.

My 01 wandered about like a drunken sailor until I put the DSS and 3rd gen updates on it, seems to have smartened it up a bit

yea, my truck seems to wander from bar to bar. I can't quite figure it out. Doesen't matter if I'm driving or someone else is. Most of the time it happens when others drive.
