Truck prices-deal or not??
Truck prices-deal or not??
I called the local dodge dealership. Anyways, they usually have the largest selection of new and used dodge trucks. He tells me they have the following trucks that interested me. I will list the trucks and the price he shoots me. I would like some feedback as to whether or not these are semi-good to good deals or not???
'01-5spd, SLT Laramie, 99k miles, QC SB, $22999
'01-6spd, SLT Laramie, 117k miles, QC LB, $22999
'01-6spd, SLT Laramie, 80k miles, QC SB, $24999
'94-5spd, SLT, 170k miles, Reg Cab, $11999
What do you guys think, anything is helpful. I have done all the nada and kelley blue book crap, but it seems to me that it doesn't mean a lot and in most cases it isn't even a good starting point. Thanks guys

Thats the kind of response I'm looking for. Dealerships these days, trying to con college students such as myself. I can't afford to get hosed, and most of the members here have been around the block a few times when it comes to playing Dealers games.
Figure out what you want, Spec. wise. Go to Kelley Blue Book or N.A.D.A .com and plug in your specs, and that will help you decide on what the trucks worth. Print it out, find the truck, take it with you to the dealer, private party and show them what the trucks worth and tell them what you'll pay. Then YOU will be in the drivers seat.
