My 5" SS Magnaflow mounted on Rip's 4" system.

 

aggiejustin,<br> did you just cut the bend out of the rip rook tailpipe &amp; then slip the 5&quot; tip up over the straight part of the pipe?????? I'd thought about doing this, but wasn't sure how it would look, but I think yours looks awfully good, let me know where you cut the tailpipe please, thanks Dusty

 

Dusty-<br><br>That's exactly what I did. Cut the last bend out of the tailpipe as it comes from Rip. Just work your way back up that straight section, until you find where you want you tip mounted. With that long straight section in there, you can choose whether you want the tip sticking out further, or tucked up under the truck.<br><br>On mine, it's back almost to the next bend. There's a guy on the TDR that did some additional mods to the tailpipe to get it swept back even more. But mine was easy enough, and I'm happy with it. If you want a pic to explain what I did, let me know...I've got a pic of the pipe before it was installed.<br><br>JM
