I had the truck put together a month then broke the the lower reversed drum in the transmission

I disagree,,,,a fifth wheel/gooseneck gives over 90 degrees of turning radius in either direction and puts the weight directly over the axle, that set up will bind the tongue at the tires and make for an extremely long tongue and what I would expect be an odd handling trailer...

Nice work on all the stuff you are doing, though, very creative and fun!

Keep the back suicide door but add 10-12" just after it and before the cab turns to the back glass.
