Replacement rear bumpers

Anyone buy one of these ? I think they are China made.. Original I real thin metal anyway
I wonder if the chrome job is good?

Yes, it's very quiet.
But maybe nobody tried those Amazon bumpers. So nothing to say here.

I used bumpers from partstrain.com, fitment wasn't too great and the plastic parts are flimsy compared to the stock parts.
Corrosion resistance still needs to be seen, stockers were still OK, no rust, but dented.
The weight of the replacements is lower than the stocker's.

Anymore they are only strong enough for a bump or two, and built to crumple in a crash. My stocker is finally starting to rust through after 20 years on the road. That ebay pic looks like a nice replacement, but for looks, not actually really useful as an actual bumper like the old dock bumpers you could get on a Chevy or Ford back in the 70's and 80's....

I agree, sites been pretty dead lately. Only a few of us left...

I'm not sure where you live, but here in Texas you can find used Ranch Hand bumpers for less than that and they'll hold up to anything you can throw at them. Just a thought.
