Rear end and fuel mileage

I have a 92 excab 4x4 5speed stock 3:55 ratio ..94 reg cab 4x4 with fuel plate and 355 ratio automatic,,wife has a2006 4 door 4x4 3:73 ratio automatic and stock and they all get 15-17 mpg but they all used to get better does anyone think the NEW FUEL could be the problem?? just my 2 cents
