Questions On Replacing Driver Side Front Seat Belt.
Long story short my wife rear ended another truck in my 99 2500. It bent my bumper and caused the driver seat belt to lock up. After the wreck my wife unbuckled the belt and it retracted all the way inside and is now locked up. She wasnt doing more than 5mph when she bumped the truck. I dont see what would cause it to lock up. When I have seen belt tensioners blow they dont retract after you unbuckle them. I peeked inside of the seat and it almost looks like its tangled/wrapped up inside the seat. Has anyone replaced an internal seat belt? I looked it up on Alldatapro but I couldnt find anything on replacing it. Im assuming I have to pull the seat cover off. Anyone know where to get an OEM belt thats not at the dealer some where cheaper?
