Pwr Steering fluid quanity?
Pwr Steering fluid quanity?
I want to change out my power steering fluid to synthetic. I plan on doing the 'turkey blaster' method of suck/fill/run/suck/fill/run/etc. I was wondering about how much fluid I would need to change using this method. I will probably go with Valvoline synthetic from Wallyworld. Thanks in advance.

Will runing the pump dry by cracking the return hose hurt the pump for a few seconds?? I'd do it that way if the pump will stand a little abuse. Probably not as hard as it as starting at 0 degrees?

Put a longer hose on the baster to make the reach easy.
