pedals

The brake and clutch pedals appear to be hung on a common shaft. Is the shaft replaceable, or are there replaceable bushings or bearings on it? When one pedal is moved, the other will move a short distance in the opposite direction. All I have at the moment is a Haynes manual, and it does not cover this assembly.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
I believe there are plastic bushings in pedals. Should be able to put some penerating oil or WD40 to the shaft. Carefully!!!
