what is involved in swapping an overhead console with one that has the trip computer? (01 SLT CDT auto 4WD) If I get the harness with it does it just plug into the main computer?<br><br>Thanks,<br>LB<br><br>BTW, excellent board, I have been lurking and learning for a while now.

 

From all the diagrams i looked at it should work. But you might want to check the wire connectors and make sure ther are the correct amount of wires and the plug matches. Dont lurk jump right in and be social

 

I'm not trying to make up your mind or anything but if you're just looking for a compass and outside temp gauge there is a company that makes a rearview mirror that has them in it. 8) I have the overhead trip computer in my truck and the only thing it's really good for is the compass and temp. The mirror also has the outo dimming feature on it. I'll try and do a search and see if I can find a link. <br><br>DB
