One headlight
One headlight
My passenger side headlight is intermittently working.
It works until I shut off the vehicle, then the next time I turn on the lights the passenger side is usually out.
My remedy is to give it the FONZ treatment: I just hit the lens with my fist and it comes on, and will stay on for the entire drive. Its not the bulb. I put in a new one the first time this happened.
I have removed and reinserted the bulb many times, wiggled all the wires to try and find the loose connection, with no success. Everything seems tight.
The FONZ always seems to work, but Id like to fix it.
Any suggestions?

Had that once on a Toyota.. Swapped headlight, relays, wiring loom and all that. No change.
Found that by honking the horn the light would turn on. So the routine was turn on lights, tap on the horn button and drive. Took me 5 years not to tap on the horn button when turning on the lights. Never found the cause for that problem.
