Noob here. Help please! Losing rubber coupling

Sorry my buds, I'm computer lame and search impared. ;D

99 4x4 dually loaded with 12' camper and flat towing jeep should be a joke for my chipped and straight piped junk. I've had this problem even before the chip. I keep blowing out the rubber coupler (boot) between the turbo and intercooler on the pass side. Blew out 3 times up one hill. Barely made it home. thing looks kinda spent. Replace boot? Both stainless clamps? All? Please help. I'm needed at the cleanup tomorow.

BTW, this place rocks!!!

Welcome,
Just gettin' online this AM,
Still need two more cups of coffee to get both eyes and both hands working at the same time.

The trick is to be sure the inside of the boot and the outside surface of the tube are squeaky clean.
Then spray hairspray on the surfaces and slip together before it drys.
Secure the clamps, and go.
There are aftermarket companies that make replacement boots and clamps too.

Agree with Shovelhead....sound like you have/had some oil or dust inside your boot. Clean it up good and things should be ok.
