Just got a new truck 2002 2500 4x4 auto. The power mirrors, locks, third brake light, cargo light, and interior lights do not work. i have checked all fuses and relays and they all seem to be ok. Any sugestions on what to check and where?

Check the IOD fuse, #12, in the dash fuse panel. It has a black plastic clip over it.

The fuse box itself in those trucks was bad to short out, or somehow get hot and burn a hole in it.
(for lack of better wording, or understanding...I say "burn").
I just knoe I've seen A BUNCH of them that have been repaired on the back-side with what appears to be a small piece of plexiglass epoxied in place.
Too many for this to be owners fixing their own trucks. Too "backyard" looking for this to be factory.
My best guess is it's a dealer repair, or some sort of preventive measure done by the dealer. (maybe there was a recall or something?).
I just know I've seen A-LOT of fuse boxes this way.

Fuses tested good. Any other ideas or does anyone have a wiring diagram so I can start tracing wires. Could all of these be on the same circuit.

When you say you tested the fuses, did you do a continuity test or a voltage test?

Redlinear gave a very good possibility, fuses could ohm out just fine, if there is no voltage to feed them, they can't blow.

Check the voltages on both sides of the fuse, and look at the backside of the fuse block and PDC.

Genos Garage has factory service manuals on CD for 35 bucks, best money you will ever spend on one of these trucks.
