New guy here

Hey guys, I'm new to the diesel world, I just picked up an 01 ram 2500 with the cummins and a 6 speed manual and 59k miles on the clock. Its got a 5 1/2inch lift and 36x14.50-16.5's. I plan on adding a set of gauges, intake and an exaust to it. I'm using it as my daily driver and she'll be pulling a 16ft trailor loaded with either quads or a car on the weekends. Anything specific I need to keep an eye out for? any suggestions on what brand and what mods I should go with? any input you guys have for me would be great!

Welcome to DTR!

You got yourself one good truck there. You're right on track by installing the gages FIRST. There are a LOT of mods you can do, and just as many opinions as to which is the best. Browse the Performance and Accessories, 1st and 2nd forum and you will get some ideas on where to start and where you can go.

BEWARE! Once you start, there is no end until the money runs out.

Oh yea, with just 59K, it's not even broke in good.

oh I know I've put a ton of money into my chevelle and my mustang. I bought this truck so I could sell my 87 blazer and my mustang and finish the frame off on my chevelle since I wont be fixing the blazer every weekend, or spending money making the mustang faster or handle better.... but knowing myself I'll probly end up spending too much money on stuff for the truck now
