I recently bought the MBRP stainless dual exhaust system. I like the looks and sound but the tail pipes fit poorly and rub my springs when the suspension drops. I was wondering if anyone else has installed the dual system and how did yours fit.

 

i put silverline duals on my truck. according to silverline, their duals are made by mbrp. It took a weekend of notching heating and welding to get these duals to look ok. What i am getting at is, mine did not fit at all until i modified them

 

mine looked like they were going to rub when it was on the lift
but when we dropped it down it was good. Maybe your hangers
or rubber hangers are Worn?

 

Everything is brand spanking new. I cant raise mine on a frame hoist the pipes hit the springs so bad. I have to raise in on a drive on hoist. I got them to somewhat fit and look decent. I just cant drive with them not hitting. As soon as the suspension drops a little bit the springs are hitting the pipes. The right side is worse and that should be the easier one to make. I think I am going to remove it all and send the MBRP junk back.
